Night Owl Bag LOVE THIS! :))

After admiring my bag and parading it around Barcelona I've FINALLY FINISHED WRITING THE PATTERN! :)

I wanted to design an owl bag with a more grown up look and I’m thrilled with this bag! The base diameter is 10cm and the bag height is approximately 15cm. It’s a simple and easy pattern to follow and I think the yarn I've used works wonderfully. The strap measure’s approximately 120cm. I hope you like this bag as much as I do!

If you buy my pattern I am happy for you to share, display and sell the items that you make using my pattern but I ask that you include a link to the pattern and give credit to the author.

I now MUST MUST MUST get down to writing the pattern that I've been working on for 3 months! Enough owl distractions!!

I'm sooooooory it's been a while - I've been having some problems with this blog for some bizarre reason.

ANYWAY! I have been busy. My current design is very very nearly ready to be unleashed into the world...

I've finished writing my first pattern for sale, she's called Ballerina Bunny and she's available on Ravelry, Craftsy and in my Etsy Store.

Also available in my Etsy Store are some fabulous vintage patterns, and my most recent upload is 2 1948 copies of the Work Basket, which are just filled with knitting and crochet patterns :)

I hope it won't be so long next time and I will soon be posting my latest design on here...so watch this space. You can also LIKE my Facebook page for Cat.Cat Crochet too ;)

Sweet handmade @ Costa Brava

We recently went for a short break from BCN to Tossa de Mar up on the Costa Brava. Such a quaint pretty little town, small enough to have its own personality but large enough that you can survive entertaining your 22 month old. We went away for Sant Joan (Catalan) or San Juan (Español) so we wandered around the town and took baby G on the fun fair while Papa failed at winning him a prize at darts. Baby G managed to hook a duck himself and secure his own prize - ah showing signs or determination and independence already :)

While I was walking through the old town one afternoon among all the touristic shops mostly, on the side of one craft/souvenir shop was a little glass case with handmade crocheted items in there! They were so sweet, little dolls dresses and miniature dolls dresses fashioned into key rings. I took a quick snap so you can see for yourself. I could of wiled away the lazy siesta hours crocheting in the sun, watching the boats bobbing up and down the coast, the sound of the water breaking on the rocks... until the sounds of "mama, mama" wake me from my little daydream... there's plenty of time for crocheting back in BCN ;) Love family holidays xxx

Cool window dressing!!

¡Hola! Beunas días!! My first post will be to share with you a snap of a clothes shop in El Gotíc that I took this afternoon. It really caught my eye as the mannequins in the shop window had skirts fashioned out of paper!!! I thought they were so cool and creative and there were many people stopping to look - a success for the shop!!
